Dear players, need help.
Playing as conjurer.
I'm doing this mission where there's a room that'll break under you and drop you to the next floor.
If you refer to my screenshot, all approaches are blocked.
I found a guide that says, "use to pull spell".

Q1. is it a must to get the staff in the middle?
Q2. have I lost my chance to get the "pull spell"?

You're probably past this by now, but if you're talking about the room with all the X marks along the floor there's ways to approach the item there depending on the class. As a Warrior you hold Tread Lightly to sneak over the pitfalls without falling through and get to the item. As a Wizard, you can use the Pull spell to draw the item towards you and drop it through the floor so you can go down after it. As a Conjurer though, there's no easy way to go about it, you pretty much have to just run full speed and spam jump and try to left-click the item rapidly once you're close enough. Best to save beforehand and then load if you fall through too much and lose too many spots to skip across.
