Hello, whenever me and a friend we try to play conquest together (he has a steam version of the game and I own a Gog version) the game crashes on my side after we're both ready, an error message appears saying:
"An error occured in network layer, Steam can no longer be reached.
[access violation]"

Anybody knows if there is a way to play the conquest mode with a gog and a steam version ?
Looking on the internet, I found a bug megathread from 2021 were someone was saying it was no longer possible, I suppose it means at least it used to be possible.

For people who'd have the same issue: my friend on Steam was hosting the game, when I tried hosting, I had no issue.
