After downloading my install files I noticed that they have odd names. Before I reinstall I just wanted to make sure that this really is 1.59 and just an error in the naming of the files.

Here are all 4 install file's names:
setup_no_mans_sky_1.58g_(23493).exe
setup_no_mans_sky_1.58g_(23493)-1.bin
setup_no_mans_sky_1.58g_(23493)-2.bin
setup_no_mans_sky_1.58g_(23493)-3.bin

Thanks again for any help!

That's weird. I just tried and get the same thing. It's most likely just a naming error, but could also be they pointed the link to the older versions. I'd suggest tossing a ticket at Support just to be sure.

I'll see if I can poke one of the GOG staff about it as well.

No worries. I tossed a Chat message to judasiscariot about it as well. I'll let you know if/when he replies.
1.58g is the same thing as 1.59. 1.58g was the latest experimental that went public. I am saying this because the binary changes in the steam 1.58 to 1.59 match the binary changes of GOG 1.58 to 1.58 g.

If that's the case then would that mean that the Patch (1.58 to 1.58g) would update me to 1.59? ... If 1.58g = 1.59
I'm trying to keep from having to reinstall. Currently playing 1.58d
