That really looks like an impressive amount of annoyances and game breakers fixed. I took the freedom to append this to the changelog thread (including proper credits)

What's the "version 1.55A" patch that Galaxy is currently distributing ? Is it the experimental. No patch notes as usual. Is this just some random messing up by Hello games on their Dev Portal ?

I don't see 1.55A neither in Galaxy, nor when accessing the GOG download servers directly using eddie3s fine gogrepo.py script. Being located in Europe might be a thing in this case, though.

No worries, I'm on a standard default channel in Galaxy, no "experimental" selected if that matters. Updates on Galaxy are often a fair bit quicker to appear than the separate downloads, quite rightly if it slows down the time till the pirates get them.

Bummer tho in the reduced number of Whispering Eggs. Just when I've finally gotten the knack! :-p

Some serious good stuff here, primarily for me, the reduction and frequency of Sentinels, especially where (as in my case) the Hostile ones chase you forever no matter how far you run or hide.

I might restart on Survival now after this.

And yes, I`m pretty sure we`ll get this patch. And if not, we`ll get the completed one, all bugs removed. Just have patience.

And when that patch drops here DON'T FORGET to make a backup of your save BEFORE you do the update as per the suggestion from HG. Seems like they are expecting it to break stuff, well it is a beta patch.

And in general this is a good idea to do for every patch.
