vaotix: Honestly, we don't even know for sure that any of this update is coming to GOG. The trailer didn't have the GOG logo at the end of it and we didn't get a huge piece of the last major NMS update either.

personthingy: Hmm, what was that piece we didn't get? I thought all we were missing on update launch was MP, but that eventually came. Was there something else?

I do agree, it's worrying there's no mention of GOG on the trailer. I mean, we don't need VR to enjoy the game but we should have the option, like Steam and PS4 users get :/
That said... if they're using Steam and PSVR APIs and that's why there's no GOG logo... then why advertise Xbox One?
I still hope for Oculus support especially for the touch controllers as I can't stand the thought I will have to use my 360 controller.
Based on my experience with Elite - the game is boring and shallow but looks awesome in VR!!!
Same goes for NMS - the amount of grind is mind numbing so I stay in Creators mode all the time but even there I will play for few minutes and leave. I hope VR will bring that "WOW" factor to the game like it did to Elite.

Aye, immersive controls are important to the VR experience. I hope we get them too. Well, even in the worst case where Hello Games doesn't implement touch controls themselves, there will eventually a mod for it I'm sure.
VR is confirmed!

(There are a few threads asking about VR, but hopefully posting it here is enough for anyone who misses the news post)
