What do you do when the game sends the whole Sentinel army after you? Why, you kill them all of course.
The video clip shows all the little dropped containers that are in view.

What happened? I guess I really ticked them off. I was on the platform of a trading post. I kept using my boltcaster to destroy and collect venom sacs and plutonium (thankfully I got a ton of Plutonium) The first set of sentinels appeared, but could not figure out how to get me. So I ignored them. Finally, when I got to the far side, The three sentinels were killable, so I killed them..... then the others came.... How many? not sure. I have over 5000 Titanium units. They average 36 a piece per kill..... so over 150 kills.....

Enjoy.....
Oh, lol. Didn't get it before the panning started.
I think the total kill count was actually a little over 200 I remember my count prior to that was something like 1030, and after my count was well over 1250... (the GTN screen)

You would think that after 1000 sentinel kills total they would learn to leave me alone..... :P
I can't trigger that sort of event. The most I get is the robot-dog and 3 flying sentinels.

Once, I saw the walker, after I emerged from a cave, where I picked up like a 100 spheres.
Never ever could repeat to have a walker come at me. The game is stupidly easy with these weak enemies.
Anyone else?
You leave one sentinel behind to alert a new one, which raises the wanted level. Once you get to max, they stupidly send in another to replace the missing ones over and over again.

Or you can shoot an unaware sentinel from a distance (homing bolt+spread, something like that). And every time you do that, another sentinel comes to see where the previous one went, while ignoring you standing there with a smoking blaster. Same thing if you are far away from the resources you mine and a sentinel turns up to inspect it - they'll completely ignore you and scan missing crystals instead.

Which is pretty cool, really. But what people will see is of course three sentinels spawning on your back and locking on to you indefinitely. So none of that AI behaviour is generally used.
One time I broke the AI, I had 5 red dots, was killing sentinels for the titanium, next thing I know they quit coming. I stayed 5 red dots, the sentinel music kept playing but they never came. I could do anything and they would never show up.
That's the way to go if you farm aquaspheres, or something like that, that will increase the wanted level automatically once you've collected too many. Get a walker, destroy the other sentinels, fly away a little bit - and the walker's scanner will never lose track of your direction (but can't run across the sea, etc.). So the new sentinels will spawn in the alerted area but won't spot you, so they don't follow you any more, while the walker will track you half across the planet.
Looks like they fixed this bug in patch 1.09
Now the sentinels aren't coming when they are suppose to......
