Some of those planets you guys have visited are really cool.

Here are a few more I took last night:

The planet I am on has lakes and underground caves that go for miles and miles and they are filled with small chunks of gold.

Dumb question sorry:

Is there a way to make screenshots in this game or only with thridparty software?

I try prt scr But that don't work via crl-v.

How do you guys/girls make screenshots?
No way in game (there should be). Use the free version of Fraps. It does it easy and doesn`t cause much overhead that I can tell.

Just make sure you go in Fraps and turn off anything you don`t want showing up, like the FPS. F10 should take the pics by default and stick them in its own folder. Click view on Fraps to see them. Run Fraps minimised while playing. It`s easy.
If you land on a planet like this (note the sentinels) just get back in your ship and leave.

I played a little more today, and thought I would share some more screenshots of this elaborate cave system:

Just watch me soar!

I burst in laughter after seeing this... ...I mean, just this 280kg, 3,5m tall gorilla flying above me, majestically flipping it's butterfly wings... ...oh, Hello Games, they really must have liked Spore.

I called it 'Really???'

Toxic Hell. I guess the toxicity is one way to explain the severe erosion under the base ;)

Lol, I have seen a creature like that, but wingless, how interesting. Most creatures I`ve seen look like they could exist. Perhaps it isn`t the wings that`s flying it but the same properties of the planet that keeps some rocks afloat and the little wings just `guide` it.

Whatever, your game. Never touched Spore, I could see it was bad from the get go.

The Solus Project has really cool caves as well, I've only played about 20% of the Solus Project so far.

Nice shots.

Caves are awesome and they look realy nice i also like the open entrance so immersive.

But there is not much to do in caves no danger no treasure to be found or animals in there bit boring sadly.

Hope the update caves with treasure to be found and monsters to fight:)

Yea, the caves are nice, but you`d expect some kind of creature to be in there, especially when the weather outside is bad. It would be both fun and scary to run into a cave to get away from a toxic storm to face some huge thing hiding there as well!

While looking through some sites that were discussing the game, I noticed that the flag on the writers original crash site look completely different from the one I remembered from mine. So returned to my starting planet and actually found my crash site! Low and behold I was right, my flag was different. I took a shot yesterday but I forgot to upload it to share, however if anyone is playing today and can upload theirs I'll post mine tonight when I got home.

Happy exploring :)
