Many, many hours ago, I found a planet with crystal sulphide, and gathered a few, but didn't realize how hard it would be to re-find, or how rare it is. As in I've never again seen it across maybe 50 galaxies. (I've since realized you might as well gather a full stack as just a few.) Now I don't quite have enough to make the Nautilon.

Is there a way to figure out which planet that was? I think it was a cold, mostly water planet (at least mostly water where I landed) but that doesn't really help. I've since started adding bases named specifically for the resource you can find there, but that was before I realized the advantages, even necessity, of doing so.

Any planet with water.
"Can be obtained from the sides of underwater vents. Use caution when harvesting, as the vent may trigger a blast of super-heated water which may cause damage to the harvester. "

Huh. I went to every world with significant water, starting from my very first system, and spent a half hour or more swimming and using the visor in each, to no avail.

Thought it was about 8 weeks ago I found the planet, so went back 6 weeks, and checked every system, every planet with more than just ponds, back to the very first world. That was about 50 systems, and nada. Went back to the one I started from, and a dozen systems later, finally ran into that exact planet, and now I have a great plenty.

Now that I have enough, I'm running into it even in smaller pond-sized bodies of water.

Next playthrough I'm going to be sure to snag at least 50 or so when I find it, and save it. That and I made a base-let there called "Sulphide Pearl" in case there turns out to be something more.

[EDIT]
Learned my lesson. If a world has any material that's not common, and not revealed from space, that world gets a base-let, named for the material.
