I click on the desktop icon. I did a nebula fly through. The screen turns white and the game crashes to the desktop. My computer meets the requirements (a little over). I Also went into "Run", "Msconfig", I hid all Microsoft services and disabled all others. I then went into start up and disabled everything there. The nebula fly through seems to be a lot smoother but the screen still turns white and then crashed to the desktop. I understand this is a new game. It is something that has never been attempted. My problem is it seems every time sony (playstation) gets involved in a game there are more problems than its worth. Instead of fixing the problem Sean does exactly what his master "Sony" does . They blame it on us , the customers! They blame it on our equipment. When the problem is theirs!
Please show the email from Sean that is blaming you or your equipment.

You do realize 'a little over' really doesn't cut it, right?

Minimum Requirements are 'you can barely run this, but still run it'. It doesn't mean it will run good.

I've long advocated developers start ditching minimums and ONLY put recommended on. Then they can simply say 'You don't have the recommended or better'. That's what I would do if I ran a game company and it would quiet down a lot of people on potatoes.

He must mean Sean's tweets

Biggest issue reported so far is players without the Visual C++ Redist 2010. First PC patch released already! Update and restart if needed

Number two issue so far is players who have out of date GFX drivers, or none installed. Please install latest drivers from AMD and nVidia.

Number three please make sure your GFX card is above the min spec. OpenGL 4.5 is required to play No Man's Sky

I guess telling users to make sure they have the latest drivers etc is "Blaming the users"
And if you have an non SSE 4.1 CPU. That means for example phemon 2 x6 processors... and tons of AMD cpus.
As statement in their steam FAQ they are aware of this issue.

I understand that. I build computers for a living. I know what will and what wont work with whatever game. My drivers are up to date. My equipment is up to date and should have no problems playing this game. I also noticed that they up'ed the graphics from AMD 7000 series to 78XX. Yesterday it was 7000 series. This afternoon it was 78XX. There is a big difference from 7000 to 78XX. The first time I started noticing a gaming company pulling these tricks on its customers was when Destiny went live. Sony and bungie are best buddies. When something happens in the game lag wise or what ever. They say "Its you, you , you ,yours" When in actuality its their bs peer to peer crap. When its 100s of thousands of people complaining that they cant play because of the same problem. More than likely its something wrong with the game. I know there are some morons out there that have no clue. Theres nothing any of us can do about them, lol. I'm sure you see what I mean .I'm not gona give up on the game. I'm gona keep it. I haven't been able to play it but I'm sure I'm gona love it when I get to. As far as I know there is no other game like this. I know someone tried it back in the Babylon 5 days but for some reason the idea of the endless sandbox universe faded away. That was a shame. Sorry! Back to the point. I'm not actually mad at him. These thing happen with new games. I'm mad about the fact that he has been tricked into using big gaming company tactics on us. I agree with the "recommended". Great idea. Oh and thank you for your reply :-D
Damn, I don't want to believe

The Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package from Gog ist better than from Microsoft, and my GFX Software get's their last Update on last week. I don't want to see that, my CPU ist too old.... damn, damn, damn.
But any other game is running here -> amd phenom II x4

And i thought i've enough time to wait for the new Zen CPU... F...!!!

If they don't take a patch, i can only get the monay back from gog... unbelievebel
