Hi Guy. Anyone else had this problem? No Man's Sky was launching fine yesterday. I did the update to the latest Relics - 5.61 patch and now it shows a white screen for about 5 seconds and won't launch. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks

Have you disabled any and all mods that might be installed?

Have you verified files and installation? If using Galaxy, just click one the button with the two sliders that is just to the right of Play (or Update). then click on Manage Installation and then click on Verify/Repair.

There has been a bug reported that was supposedly fixed in 3xperimental but did not make it into 5.6.1. See https://www.gog.com/forum/no_mans_sky/relics_loading_crash/post7

Have you checked your antivirus logs or quarantine? https://www.gog.com/forum/no_mans_sky/relics_loading_crash/post6
Hi, Relics failed to load for me, no white screen but crashed before 1st menu. Followed advice from Chewy..., verified / repaired files and now NMS loads and runs.

You might also want to check your antivirus logs, quarantine, etc. Some Steam users are reporting problems with antivirus blocking the nms.exe file (especially with Avast) and one other file whose name I cannot recall. This sometimes happens and has happened to me in ancient days of yore. The OS has also sometimes given me warnings about files that are too new to be trusted.

There was a fix for this listed in 3xpermiintal about this but this fix did not make it into the release of the 5.6.1 patch. There have since been two 3xperimental patches with possible fixes:
From Experimental Branch 27/03: Fixed a number of crashes.
From Experimental Branch 28/03: Fixed a graphics driver related crash.

GOG players are no longer worthy of participating in 3xperimental so we do not know of this might have fixed the problem that you experienced and can only wait for the patches to be released to main.

Good Luck
