AMD FX-8320 and GTX1660 is pretty darn old at this point. Also having crashes that other dont have often comes down to our systems like background stuff running, OS/OS version, drivers, connected peripherals that can crash certain games, wrong settings for the hardware etc etc. Might be time to upgrade and have a fresh system if thats a possibility.

If I cold afford to upgrade, I would have done so years ago.

The game runs completely fine 99.97% of the time, for 10 hours straight even. However, there are a few specific things that do crash the game, such as using the terrain manipulator around creatures. Crashing when doing Nexus Missions is and always has been coincidental...

Never had any problems with anything other software. Your suggestion to upgrade is nothing but pointless posturing.

Regarding to the fact that others don't have these problems, it might still be an issue with your setup. Maybe try another gpu driver (even older ones).

Only because you did not mention this, just in case have your tried verifying the game files? In Galaxy you can go to the settings for a specific game then Manage Installation then Verify / Repair. Only mentioning this because someone had a different rare issue or problem and reported that the issue was eliminated by going through the repair options in Steam.

I will not post my graphics card model but I am extremely below minimum requirements and the game plays well with just about everything set to High but I have never even tried Ultra.

Tatwi: I have. Never recieved a reply, so I can't say if the data was helpful. Most recently I just sent an angry message. :)

alt3rn1ty: They don't answer anymore, they will just prioritise your report depending on how you responded to the question "How has this issue affected your gameplay?". Crashes and game stoppers usually come out as a fix within a few updates if they can be reproduced.

They used to be very engaging in the first year (in my experience anyway) for anyone not getting personal in the reporting procedure, but after they started getting death threats over content not being in the game in the early days they stopped doing any personal responding completely, and just stuck to showing the world what has been fixed via the patch notes.
lol after death treats... people are so weak they bow for that... i wouldnt have given 1 shit about those threats and just help people even if they where angry.... but i wouldnt have trown out a game with lies about whats supposed to be in it :P
