So I download the new patch here on GoG for updating the foundation update and it says Not compatible with the GoG Galaxy version of the game and it may "Break the game"

My question is this, I did not and will not use GoG Galaxy, I installed the Foundation patch without it, does this still mean it may break the game ?

I ask this because when I went to exit the patch all in red text at the bottom it said "This patch does not support your version of the game please download a new installer"

So upon running the patch it says May break GoG Galaxy version of the game, and upon exit it says I have the wrong version of game. Keeping in mind I did not use GoG Galaxy at all and only used the ONLY installation of the game available to me. What exactly is going on ?

Seriously can we get a comment from a GoG support person on this please ?
