Hello Goggers,

wanted to try out nms after the voyager update and its the first time i log in since the last update.

Now when i try to join the multiplayer like usually (Starting galaxy then the game) im only able to play alone or better, the anomaly lacks any other players...

where there any changes that im missing or does the gog version have trouble with the multiplayer atm?

thanks or your answers.

Could be that the discovery servers are currently unavailble. They were unavailble yesterday, same symptoms. Very common occurance around updates and bug fixes. Probably not a GOG version / Galaxy issue since Steam users reporting same issue.
Yep. This is not a GOG issue. It's happening on Steam too. The game is experiencing a popularity peak only surpassed by August 2016, back when multiplayer was only asynchronous.
Thanks alot for the answers.

im glad that it seems the problem is not on this side.

greetings.

This happens with every release of a new version and start of every expedition. The Hello Games discovery servers can handle the traffic most of the time but cannot support the increased traffic for new versions and expeditions.

Expeditions are best played off-line anyway since there often are missions that require finding something new such as planets and fauna and therefore it becomes increasingly more difficult to find undiscovered anything.
