I wanted to complete as much of the Catalogue as possible but have not yet been able to obtain Diplo Chunks or Giant Eggs. I went as far as to use portals to other systems both in current galaxy and also in Euclid. Although I can find diplos in the galaxies to which I took the portal, these diplos always yield meaty chunks and creature eggs instead of the diplo chunks and giant eggs. This is not dependent on size as this has happened with both very large and also small diplos.

Has anyone else had success in obtaining these ingredients from diplos that were previously discovered by other players?

I will be using the Save Editor in the near future to reduce the balance in my bank account and may have to cave in and fix those missing pieces since I have otherwise found at least 15-18 diplos although those all were previously discovered.
