I know we can transfer Items between players in MP, but has anyone figured a way to transfer funds? (Which we can apparently have UNLIMITED quantities of...)

If there is a way to do that - and I were to purchase another account - would I be able to play BOTH accounts at the same time (switching between the two...) Even if it slowed the game down, to me it would be worth it.

Even if that's not possible - has anyone come up with any other reasons to purchase another account with GOG???

I'm really enjoying this game and am trying to come up with any "creative" options - with the price at 50% right now, this would definitely be the time to do it!!!

I'm even thinking of buying a 2nd account that I could "loan out" to friends who don't have the game to see if they'd enjoy it enough to want to buy it...

When my brother first saw this game, he wasn't really interested, but since I'd installed it on his computer, he started "playing around" with it and now it's become his FAVORITE computer game (we're both in our 60's and have played TON'S of computer games...) He ended up buying it for himself AND a second one for his wife...

Really looking forward to tomorrow!!!

Not unlimited but big. After 2^32-1 (4,294,967,295) units the amount ceases to increase. Used to be 2^31-1 (signed 32-bit max) and that number is still referenced in places.

Seems feasible. Haven't heard of anyone trying that. ALT-TAB or Windows-D back to the desktop seems to freeze the game in place, so it may be possible to launch another. Hmmm... With GoG & NMS already running, what would happen if one were to get to the desktop and then launch the standalone executable?

It appears as if each NMS in-game account has a unique identifier as well as a second identifier associated with each new game start. Subject to change once Beyond drops, of course.

I'm the cautious type. I'll wait a bit and let the early adapters discover the killer bugs (if any).
