If you own the game on Steam it appears there is an experimental patch/branch available.
No such option on GOG. Even though GOG Galaxy has BETA Channel, and even password Beta Channel support.

This lack of proper support, and GOG not forcing them to keep the game to compatible level is really going to get me to re-consider this purchase here.

Bad enough the game really isn't much of a game since virtually all is the same in the universe, but then to get second class support as well. That's just well, dog dung.

Yeah this sucks. After having read about the hotfix in the Steam forums, I hoped that GOG is going to release a beta channel as well.
Yeah I believe someone from GoG needs to get in contact with them ASAP and this needs to be available for GoG Galaxy users...

We have a "Beta Channels" option so it should easily be do-able for GoG to get Hello Games to give us access as well I thought I was doing myself a favor purchasing from GoG but as I read online there are major rumors and discussions on GoG lagging behind the competition when it comes to updating the catalog.

This is a VERY new game and an Indie title basically that in it's current state should almost be an "Early Access" like title with frequent updates and Beta/Testing updates which they are providing with/through Steam so it should definitely be possibly with GoG Galaxy.

Get on this ASAP.

I have already requested a refund which I doubt you guys would acknowledge but at least put in full effort to support the latest versions beta or not of this product since it is so heavily flawed at launch.

While this is true, it has not been rolled out to every developer yet. It's still being tested and developed. It possible Hello Games has not been given access meaning they can't directly upload it and have to go through GOG. It's also possible they are ignoring us.

I imagine GOG will have something up soon though as GOG employees are working this weekend because of this.
IF GoG wants people to keep buying games here instead of Steam they need to take this seriously.
And I know they have said that they think the devs have the ability to push patches themselves but this needs to be a proactive thing. Like make sure the devs know that and to push for just as good support for their customers as Steam.

If they want Galaxy to ever be accepted and something remotely as serious as Steam they need to address the perceived support/patch issues here.

With all due respect this is what I am talking about, you tag says GoG Agent. Why in the world do you not know if they have access or not? Im sorry but this is one of the biggest releases on PC this year. Yesterday it took us hours and hours just to get someone who actually knew to verify that the GoG version was actually the patched version.

That should not be the case. Im sorry, I love you guys and I use your service alot but sometimes when it comes to actually communicating with the customer it is seriously lacking here.

Your confusing what GOG Agents is. This is a testing program that I'm part of as well as some other people, that basically help test certain features before official release. I do not work for GOG. You forum tag can say whatever you want it to say.

I agree it's rather silly that one of the biggest releases on GOG this year isn't using their new system even if it's not done or fully tested. I don't disagree with you.

I am sorry just so I know and don't unfairly direct my frustration at you, does your tag "GoG Agent" mean you are actually a customer support or forum support guy for GoG?

Sorry I did not verify that before directing my post at you. Its just very frustrating.

No... your forum tag can say whatever you want. You can change that under settings. I have nothing to do with GOG or GOG business. I just help test some unreleased features voluntarily. That's it.

GOG staff members are labeled with a blue tag that says GOG Staff and there text is blue. These are the only official GOG accounts on the forum.

To me the lack of similar level support = not doing all that can be done to try and correct issues. As such I would qualify this as a 100% valid reason for a refund. Very close to asking as well.
Truly regret buying from GOG.COM NEVER AGAIN terrible support

Nah, I think the folks at GOG are actually very good at supporting the site and service. I'm more on the thought they've not really considered how to support developers and highly anticipated titles well that are just flat out not working well, not what was advertised, and not equally supported.

I mean, the GOG folks found and fixed an issue for last minute purchasers really fast on Launch day for this title (I know I was impacted). Had the whole issue resolved in less than an hour. I've also received nothing but excellent support form them when dealing with them.

However, they need to be more careful on partnering for highly anticipated titles.
Also extremely frustrated. My wifes below spec Intel processor PC is running smoothly and having fun while I can't play because I have AMD on my above spec PC, then to see a fix come to steam first makes it worse.
I did post on the Steam side as well for giggles but of course no response there.

I responded to give your thread a little bump, because I do agree with you.
I do agree there should be alot more support if gog wanst people play through gog galaxy. Still biggest reason im here and i suppose most here have same reason is DRM FREE this still out weighs for me above support.

Steam is not that bad but its still DRM and a social club which i dont realy like GOG GALAXY is so much more relaxing to use if its browsing games or play games through galaxy or go visit forums. All tho have friendlist i still like they don't know what im doing while steam if i want that i have to put myself offline.

GOG any day over steam support or not.
