Hello fellow travellers. I seem to be having an issue with my exocraft/s. After hours of missions, material gathering and hours hovering over all sorts of planets in my trusty but battered starship I have finally collected ALL available exocrafts (with the exception of The Nautilis..Nortilus...Underwater one). I must say it's an absolute joy tearing through extreme planets, and not so extreme ones, in my ground machines. The Colloses (the big one) is an absolute BEAST, destroying all sorts of nature and proving to be a real pain in the backside for any sentinals who happen to notice my wanton destruction...HA HA..payback is a b$#%ch..

In anycase, I seem to have drifted of the point here, which i may add is what a traveller does, but anyway, back to my..problem. I have installed almost every upgrade i can to all of my vehicles but i can't seem to target the mining laser or cannons. I can move the laser left and right but NOT up. So, basically, i have a laser that constantly just points DOWN. Pretty much useless if i can't target.

I've tried re-mapping but there doesn't seem to be controls for laser targeting in the exocraft tab. I appreciate that i'm pretty slow on the uptake, which is why this game is perfect for me as i can take my sweet time in figuring out the complexities of space travel and base building but i really am stuck here.

Any help from my fellow travellers would be looked upon in the most gracious manner with the added bonus of getting rep increased x 1 with my faction of one...

thanking you in advance.

The exocraft mining laser has always been difficult to aim and is less effective in terms of yield than getting out and using your multi-tool. There is a mod that I read exists, https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/1138, but I do not use mods so cannot vouch for this. Additionally, getting out to stretch the legs is the only way to scan flora or to find nearby waypoints or objects of interest.

All of my exocraft are rusting away on my almost never visited base used solely as storage. Once in a while I will use the Nautilon when searching for the rare fifth underwater fauna species.
If you need even more height, I personally use https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/1294 and it's made driving and using the mining laser a very good experience as well. You can look at the image on both mods to see the height difference.
