Hello,

Does anyone know a way to check the exact version of the game I have?
I know people have asked before but that was years ago and without decent answers.

Galaxy is no help since I do not have the most recent version, and there have been so many patches in the last year that whatever version I have isn't listed in the configuration menu.
There doesn't seem to be any version label in the game either.
The game executable is labelled as "file version 8275.0.0.0" but that isn't much of a help.

Aside from that, it's really a shame there's no way to get older patches without Galaxy. I do not have the data or speed for 11GB of updates in one hit :C

See the attached jpg for where the build number is located on the launch screeh (lower right).

See this page for the GoG build numbers versus build ID versus Hello Games version numbers.

I have heard but can't confirm that one can contact GoG support and get a link to an earlier release. May take some time, since all releases of all of GoG's content can't possibly always be stored "live," but they may be able to pull it from their backups.

Edit to add the jpeg. D'oh!

Thankyou very much for your clear answer.
It turns out I'm only out by a few updates anyway :/ Missed the first few Frontiers patches.
