I have a problem where in the [ESC] menu under the "Discovery" Tab I Can not upload Planets.
at the bottom left it says "Connecting to online Discovery Services" but never does.

I can see other players in Nexus but cannot 'upload all' planets discovered. Also having problems renaming plants/plants/wildlife and rocks etc.
Does anyone else have these problems .
Using Galaxy and latest build of No man's Sky.

If you are on Win7 try the solutions mentioned in this older Thread:

No connectivity anymore in windows 7
Thank you very much , this Solution indeed bought me back online.
yes using outdated OS Windows 7 , I still prefer it over Windows 10 any day and also know that it is coming to "its End Of Life" early next year.

Have noticed that Although "Green Light" is on for online discoveries , that I must Manually click through each one and upload. However at least I can still get the Nanites for the Discoveries! :D

Again , Thank you.

IAM now online.

Your solution has worked perfectly while I was in Next / Visions version of the game. Since I have installed fresh the Beyond v.2.09 my online connectivity circle in the Discovery tab remains red (saying no connection). I have checked my Internet Security suite, it allows NMS to fully have net traffic, and I have already changed my http TLS to 1.1/1.2.

Maybe the NMS servers are down currently?
