Hi.

I've just, for the 2nd time, had a distress call given from a freighter, where one of the attack ships was actually docked inside of the hangar, rendering the task of defending the freighter by destroying all attack ships impossible. SInce this time it was my own freighter, I decided to reload, rather than ignore.

Anyone found a solution to this, other than reloading ?

I've had this happen on NPC freighters. No solution either. i reported it as a bug.

Marked your post as solution since this seems to be yet another bug,

Thank you for confirming on this one.
Replying to my own post here. I just ran into this, again. This time my freighter dropped a distress call, but no attack ships appeared. Not even one parked inside of the freighter.

Calling my freighter to a different position inside of the system it got attacked did not work.

Instead of reloading, I bit the bullet, went through a space station teleport terminus, and called my freighter in another system. That worked, and I could land on it.

Now that you mention it, I had this exact same problem, and used a similar solution.
