Seriously GOG, what a poor show... I don't mind waiting for the update - this is OK. But LET US KNOW what's going on. Will it be available tomorrow? In a week's time? Month? You don't know because you're waiting for HG to get back to you?

Whatever, I am not spending any more money here until you improve your communication with the community, because this is simply ridiculous.

Very upset former customer here. And to think I praised you everywhere I could... :(

Massive let down.
The Update just became available. Hope its good.

Everything but the MP aspects. That is "expected to be available in a few months" according to the GOG post.
Well, it's finally (after a 10 hour wait) downloading - That's a good thing - but the fact that GOG has totally ignored us (as far as I know) is NOT a good thing - I totally agree with the previous "Until communications improve - I will NOT purchase anything on GOG - I have a steam account I haven't been using, but now will...

As to the Multiplayer not being available - How about it GOG, what's the story there????? (Maybe, just MAYBE they'll stop ignoring customers... and pay some attention???)

GOG, after such fuckup you should be really ready, many customers will go out. If you knew, the implementation of MP can take MONTHS, then you should inform us BEFORE update will be released. I really hate Steam, but in this situation... you are really ridiculous
This new uptodate has me interested, not for the MP aspect (which i couldn`t care less for), but the rest of it. Frankly, i`m surprised they didn`t walk away with the cash a year ago so it may be worth a retry...

Is it ready non-Galaxy though?
Hi Guys,

all easy - i wait more than 7 months for 1.3.0 for Homeworld:Desert of Kharak. Steam Release was 11.2017 and GOG Release was mid june i think. 10 hours i fast enough for NEXT update for No Man's Sky ;)

But i have learned one thing - i would never buy any actually game on GOG - support and communication is too bad here.

Nothing worse than wanting to play a game you paid for but suddenly can`t because Steam arbitrarily `decided` you can`t. I`ve had it happen several times- rage inducing. Extremely rage inducing.

I`d rather wait a year for GOG Updates than go through that again.
This reminds me of Necropolis. The game had a multiplayer component - not on GOG, however. There is a "warning" on its store page but it is pretty small (not even sure whether it was there when I pre-ordered it). Anyway, it was said to be coming in the "near future" - after a year or so the devs announced that there would be no more updates. So the GOG version is still missing achievements and MP.

GOG is good for old games, for new releases you should still use Steam - unless you don't mind being treated as a second-class citizen.
Took me ages just getting this thing back into 1st person mode... Graphics are certainly better though.
£19.99 on Steam at the moment. I'm really tempted in swimming in that shark pit. But not having co-op multyplaying (the only MP I care about) is a real bummer. If I do it, that means no GOG purchases for an year. You are grounded, Gog! I still love you but this was a BIG let down, especially the lack of communication...

Shoulda got it while it was on cheap sale for £14.99 a few months back. In fact it was that price a few times. I bought it then on a sneaky hope it would improve since I liked the concept. Never bothered playing it again until now...

It`s certainly changed. i`m a little annoyed that it forces 3rd person on you sometimes. It should have kept the strict original 1st person mode as well as a having an optional 3rd person mode. Sigh...
