According to a person on Steam forums there is cross-play.

I think devs confiremed there's a crossplay, but only gog/steam copies, not ps4 or switch.

You can cross play with GOG/Humble/Steam, if the versions match. Currently GOG and Humble builds work together, but since Steam received a new patch (1.0.2.) this week, they aren’t compatible with Steam. GoG and Humble should be getting the latest patch soon.
