It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

While I appreciate the update a lot it would be great to have the over 10 years old original version as a bonus goodie available for download. Unlike the new build it still includes the old Direct3D 8 renderer and there also might be compatibility issues with the new version and older mods.

Go for it GOG!

Edit: Just to back this up further, the old (pre-Nordc) 1.01 version is still available on Steam (via Betas tab).

Totally agree !
GOG, having the old version in bonus would be perfect with this update !

Very nice ! :D
Thanks Judas!
And thank you for the info ;)
For those interested, the update by Nordic games is pretty great but sadly introduced an yet unfixed save game corruption bug. Also, it's incompatible with Windows XP by default and removed the alternate DirectX 8 rendering mode.

It's an old post, sorry. But do you still get the original release on GoG as an extra? Asking for the same reason.

I just checked the game in my library and I dont see anything like that in the "Extras" section (same for offline installer section, which is obvious I guess).

I also don't see any serial key(s) under the "More" drop down menu either. Which is where sometimes bonus keys can be found (I guess?).
.
Thanks! What a bummer. Steam doesn't give you a key either, but you can play 1.01 (under the "Beta" tab) if you source a CD key from somewhere else and manually add it to the registry. By default the entry is just blank and the game errors out.

I don't know if anything will come of it, but you could try to see if by using Galaxy, there is any rollback versions there. I don't use Galaxy to install or play games, but it's very fast and convinient for downloading the offline installers from there than from the chrome web broswer. At least for me anyway.

The only other thing I can think of and it's a real longshot, is to maybe msg one of the blues and explain to them your situation. Worst they can say is, that it's not possible. Right? :)
