if you cannot get past the create/join game screen, simply delete the registry file for the voice under nexus server in the registry for nexus

registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mithis\Nexus - The Jupiter Incident]

what you're looking to delete:
Multiplay_VoiceEnabled=dword:00000000

confirmed the fix by launching a copy on my other computer then joining on my main computer.

needless to say LEAVE THE VOICE OPTION ALONE AFTER THIS.

One addition, on 32-bit Windows the key is in:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mithis\Nexus - The Jupiter Incident]

Hi,

Thanks for posting your suggested fix, however after deleting the key and trying to start the MP server the game still crashes. When I checked the registry I noticed the game has recreated the problematic key.
Am I missing something here?

Thanks for your time!

Could be a permission issue. Try running regedit as Administrator. Search for the program, right-click it and select the option to run it as an administrator.
