played this game for ages and cd copy finally gave out after noticing i missed it being free for 48 hours

D&D games typically go on sale several times per year, and the price will drop below $5. It may not be free, but that's pretty darn close.

I don't think I've ever seen GOG repeat a giveaway for the same game twice. It's highly unlikely that NWN will ever be given away for free on GOG again in that manner.

As Ryan333 says, the D&D games tend to go on sale for steep discounts several times per year, so picking it up then would be your best course of action.

Or asking someone who has a spare key nicely. With the recent giveaway, many people have NWN keys they don't need.
