It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Toolset problem:

- I open the toolset and go to FILE / NEW / AREA and then set the AREA SETTINGS / AREA SIZE, but nothing appears and the viewing window remains white. Is there something I have to switch on or is there something I have done wrong?

It sounds like you've done all you need to do, I have no idea why the new area is not showing up, but if you have no luck here, Tchos over at Nexus is a bit of a wiz. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/478-nwn2-mod-troubleshooting/

Thanks for the reply. I will check out that website and see if Tchos can help. Nevertheless, if there is anyone on GOG that can help then please let me know. More suggestions welcome.
The toolset needs DirectX 9.0C and the older .net framework , so if you haven't installed both of those, I would start there.

Unfortunately, that didn't resolve the issue.

I would look in event viewer, see if any errors coincide with when you installed the toolset.
Some antivirus software sometimes interferes with the installation.
