Hi guys,

I am having a problem with the "Destroy the six siege towers" quest (don't remember the official name of it!) during the battle in the Crossroad Keep, Act III.
Towers land on the wall, but don't discharge any enemies (they are supposed to "produce" a lot of undead). You can't destroy them - you can damage them only till the "Near Death" condition. That's it.
And since this is a part of the main quest... well...
I re-installed the game, keeping old saves - didn't help.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Well, I had the same problem and I think I found the solution:

That fixed it for me, however, I immediately ran into the next bug. Garius didn't appear after the defeating the undead in the courtyard. This has been the most buggiest run through the OC I ever had.

Thank you very much, Gaunathor!

It worked! I missed a good battle, but I saved a game. Thanks!

Just an FYI, I hit same problem and I tried the fix but I was not satisfied on missing the battle. So I tried a fresh install without any mods and everything works fine, so it can be due to a mod conflict so try removing all mods first and test.
Thanks, kaileeena!

I tried that, but unfortunately it didn't work out for me.

Sorry to hear that. The game is good but its very buggy which makes bioware the better company in my opinion at least they dont dump buggy games on the players and the game stays buggy after 6yrs too.

You can't blame Obsidian for not continuing to patch the game. They wanted to release a 1.24 patch, but were forbidden to do so, due to the legal dispute between Atari and Hasbro about the D&D license.

As for Bioware not releasing buggy games, take another look at BG2. There are still loads of bugs in it. Some of them can break quests, the romance with Jaheira, even the game on some occasion. Or what about Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening? There is a bug that can make you loose all your equipment. The devs know about it, but refuse to fix it, because they supposedly can't supply the patch to the console versions of the game.

Really, Bioware is just as bad as everyone else when it comes to bugs.

I didn't know about the patch issues. And I was a bit vague on my comparison but I was mainly talking about my experience playing NWN1 and NWN2. Also same goes for KOTOR1 and KOTOR2 although TSLRCM fixed that:) Also to clarify, Obsedian games writing and play is much better than Bioware IMHO, just bugs and rushed release are their main issues. I can certainly see how DA:O stole alot from what Obsedian did with NWN2.

Anyhow sorry for derailing the thread and back on topic
