Hi guys,

I'll probably buy it anyway at some point just for Mask of the Betrayer, many people give me the impression that the aforementioned expansion is one of the best story focused rpg modules since Planescape: Torment.

However, as an offline player, one thing that almost killed NWN 1 for me was how you never had direct control over your henchman/party. While mods alleviated the pain somewhat, it always kinda ruined the combat for me, and undermined the tactical fun that could be had. (As henchman AI was horrible and limited, and some of the best modules where quite party focused )

I'm just wondering if this was addressed in NWN 2, - Is there full user control and micro management over my party in a vain similar to the old infinity engine games like Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale etc... ?

Would be awesome...

Thanks!

NWN2 has full party control and micromanagement just like in Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale, etc. It is not the henchmen of NWN1. You can also set each party member's AI to a range of behaviour conditions, or put them in "puppet mode" and direct their actions without AI interference. Each party member also has a separate inventory.

Thanks for replying, that's just what I was hoping to hear!
