hello, very new to nw2 and I had a question regarding party mechanics. I'm having trouble managing my parties actions, particularly in combat. for example, I'm in the tomb just east of fort locke, and I have my rogue detecting tracks as we walk along. I open a door, and observe a trap just inside the doorway. While moving the rogue forward to disable the trap, the rest of the party observes the mobs inside the room and charges in, directly over the trap my rogue was disarming. Is there any way to perhaps "un-link" the party members so that the rogue can perhaps act as an actual scout? I apologize for the possibly silly question with an obvious answer, but I am just not seeing an option/menu for this sort of thing. Thanks in advance!
You can issue orders to your party members. I like to hotkey "attack nearest", "follow me", and "hold your ground", and using these appropriately tends to solve most of the issues. Alternately, you could just turn off their AI entirely by setting them to puppet mode so they won't do anything but follow behind you until you turn their AI's back on or take direct control of them.
