Attempting to use the Aurora Toolset via nwtoolset in my bin folder, but all I get is the 0xc000007b error message. My game runs just fine - it's the nwtoolset. Any way to fix this?

Does it happen if you disable your antivirus software?
Are you talking about NWN:EE ? NWN, and NWN2 do not have bin folders.
Are you using an nVidia card, by any chance? If so, try opening your NVidia Control Panel, go to 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings and turn Threaded Optimization to "Off", and see if that fixes the issue for you.

I am having the same issue. I am running Windows 10 on on a AMD Ryzen 7 processor. Disabled MalwareBytes and that did not help.

Had to install the control panel from the Windows Store as I was getting a popup during startup saying that the app wasn't detected on my system. Anyway, after install, I followed this advice and the toolset still does not launch. :'(
