I've just downloaded and installed the game, and set it to run at 1920x1200 resolution.

The game works just as well as I remember it (having played several previous versions on various Mac and PC systems). Better, in fact, because my hardware is so much nicer now.

There's only one problem. The bink movies that play at the start of each chapter aren't centered on the screen. TInstead they show up in the upper left corner. Is there any way to bring them back to the center, where they belong?

EDIT: Problem solved through trial and error.

Changing the "Safe Movies=0" setting in my nwn.ini file to "Safe Movies=1" causes the movies to play back in fullscreen mode, which gets rid of the problem.

(I hadn't previously thought of changing the "Safe Movies" setting because that was described as a solution for slow movie playback, which was not my issue at all. But it apparently forces a change of resolution during movie playback, which is an acceptable alternative to centered playback at a higher resolution.)

There is one small side effect. Since the movies were originally created for playback on much smaller displays, the subtitles end up looking a bit ragged on a 24" screen. But that's easier to live with than playback in the upper right corner.
