Hi,

I am debating which tablet to buy. I know NWN is available on Andriod tablets on the Google store. But will the GoG version work on a Surface Go tablet? It runs Windows, of course so there should be no compatibility problems. It should just be a matter of the min specs and being able to run it well. Does anyone have experience running on a Windows tablet?

Thanks
Hi,
As far as i know there are no device restrictions for android. Obviously the Flagships will out perform the knockoffs . The game can be played with a stylus ....about the only consideration I can think off. I guess get the best one in your price range. BE YE WARNED : the ui of a tablet, while big and beautiful, requires alot more travel distances than say a big phone, so id advise you to play on a device your allready comfortable with particularly online where theres no pause button.
There is too much right clicking required in the current UI for it to work on a touch screen. If you use a mouse and keyboard it'll work but you've pretty much shot the point of a tablet by doing that.
An NWN port was boggling to me, and as soon as I brought it up to friends they shared my skepticism. The EEs work with the IE games since not much porting needed to be done, but with NWN make sure that you have a mouse. The menus and options are such where the touchscreen is not done well enough, and I'm surely not the only one who thinks this as you get as such in reports. I don't have one, so I refunded. Unlike Doom and such, this isn't a game where a gamepad can substitute.

At least it's much more receptive to mods this time around? It appears so!
