There was an option in a .2da file that lets you raise the multiclass limit from 3 to 8 in Neverwinter Nights, but they seem to have changed the format.
Does anyone know how to do it these days? I wanted to toy around for a bit of fun before getting NWN2 EE.
EDIT: Solution!
Use Neverwinter Nights Explorer. Open a file in the DATA folder called Ovr.bif
In the "Game Data" section, find the file that discusses modifiers. In my current one, it's Res80. You'll find a line closer to the bottom for Multiclass Limit.
Right-click and select "Export" and save it in your "My Documents" Override folder in the game's folder.
Open that file with Notepad and find that Multiclass Limit and change it (from my understanding, it supports up to 8). Save it!
Rename it to "Ruleset.2da"
