I can't get this to work at all. Everything is completely messed up. Worst of all, none of the interface buttons seem to work. I've gotten around this by dropping resolution down to 1920x1080, which works fine.

Anyone else have any good experience with it?

The game is 14 years old. AFAIK it does not work at 4K.

AFAIK It does work at 2560x1440. That should look pretty good if available.

If you right click on nwmain.exe and select properties > compatibility.
check Override High DPI scaling behavior
See pic

But the UI doesn't scale and even at 2560X1440 the writing and portraits are pretty small.

Can anybody tell me if it's normal that in the second expansion of NWN, when I hit the sleep key the screen turns black for a few seconds?

It happens the same at the beginning of the cutscene. Is there a way to remove it?

Yes. It's there to potentially spawn in creatures (while resting) or move creatures around (in preparation for cutscenes). Engine limitation reasons.

It might be possible to remove the temporary black-out while resting if you're willing to edit the module scripts -- but why?

It's annoying especially in the cutscene

Sorry, short of trying to edit every individual cutscene (which might cause other problems), nothing can be done.
