Why this is happening? When I try to skip the intro, the game closes, then there's a message saying that the program is not responding. This sucks, I don't want to see the intro every single time.

Edit the nwn.ini file - locate the [display options] sections and add the line

Disable Intro Movies=1

To disable all the movies in the game leave the word intro out.

Thank you! Since you are still here, can I ask you something, maybe you know how to solve this, too. The skin and face of my character are gray and shiny, like metal, and that doesn't make any sense. Any way to fix that?

A known problem - you'll have to download and install the 1.69 critical rebuild patch, available here :

http://nwn.bioware.com/support/patch_english_hotu.html

Note it's around 310 mb

Thanks, I'll install and let you know what happen.
As a side note:

The game crashing when trying to skip a cut scene seems to have to do with NWN not gaining full window focus when it launches full screen, attempting to bypass the cut scenes when anything else is in the forefront (even if NWN is showing full screen) will cause the game to crash.

I have found that you can alt-tab out and back in to fix this problem, I believe you can also play with some compatibility settings (like turning off Desktop Compositing and setting compat mode).
I'm guessing you're on WIndows Vista or 7.

If so...always run the game from nwmain.exe instead of the standard start file/shortcut.

Then also run that as administrator and in windows XP compatibility mode.

In one of the .ini files there is a setting called Safemovies....that should be set to 1. I don't think you actually have to disable them (the movies I mean)....

....and yes...you should always get the 1.69 critical rebuild patch from Bioware...
