greetings. going to give some details to the problem. I load NWN from its start screen, and usually after the splash screen, nothing happens. no process or anything.

If i run the game directly from its exe (using system admin) the game loads and immediately crashes and gives this report:

just bought 4 copies unfortunately having same issue. its my first purchase from a new and site i didnt know, lesson learned. should have just looked harder for the copies i bought years ago that worked

i use to play this all the time i remember ii had to star with an internal exe not the one it put n the desktop. i wish i could just find a full set of the key i have from my other purchased versions unfortunately i bought all the copies for a streaming series and now that's bust :( If anyone knows how to get this to start and play please pass on the info.

i figures out my issue, there is an AMD graphics bug, i remember now from when i use to play. inside the main NEN folder rename nwnmail.exe to something else playnwn.exe for example. In the nwn.ini search for "Enable CreatureEnvironmentMapping=1" change the 1 to a 0 and save, start the game using the renamed exe you made. once in game go into the settongs and find the cCreatureEnvironmentMapping check box, uncheck and recheck. this will allow you to see other npc and players.

that makes it run fine!
