Hello,

I have a few questions regarding NWN campaign.I'm replaying this game, and while I still have lots to learn, I'm not new to the series.
My questions are:

1. Is it possible to edit your character during campaign?
2. I know I can edit my character in a separate module which lets you test different builds, items etc, but as I asked in my previous question, is there a way to import it afterwards?

I don't want to add items, give gold or such, I just want to redistribute some skill points which I erroneously put in the wrong skills.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes, you can do that with LETO 1.69 from the vault.

Thank you for the info.
I downloaded the file, and opened player.bic file from a saved game. I tried to reasign the skill points (taking into account passives, gear, etc) and saved the file by overwriting the initial one.
However, when I start the game, I can't see any changed I made.

Any clues?
Thanks.

I've not used LETO for this, but I can tell you another way that works (I've used this method myself):

1) Start a new game and create your new character. Use the console to give it the same number of XP as your existing character** and set it up the way you want. Export the character.
2) Start your existing game. Drop your equipment somewhere convenient where it's easy to find. Save the game in a separate slot (just in case) and exit.
3) Start the just-saved game from step 2 as a multiplayer game. When the option pops up to use a previously made character, import the character you made in step 1. Equip him with your saved gear. Save the game and exit.
4) Start the game you just saved in step 3 in single player mode and you're good to go.

**Post back if you're not familiar with how to use the console.
Easiest way to redo skills is to use the console.
http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Console_command

First goto DebugMode and then use
dm_giveXP
but put an appropriate number of negative XP in there. Then put the same amount of XP back.
And hey, you just lost your levels and get to remake everything.

While that worked 100%, it breaks so much the immersion... I can't even find my words how game-breaking was that for me. Cheers again for your help!

That was a damn clever solution!
Thanks you!

I'm not sure how it breaks immersion any more than using the console, but I'm glad Jarmo was able to point out you could de-level your character with the console. I'd completely forgotten you could do that. Enjoy your game! :)
