So I just purchased the games during summer sale (yay! been about 10 years coming!)

I know in the past people needed to contact support for CD Keys. I know I have a list of CD keys, for both games, under my shelf listings for NVN 1 and 2, and I know Gamespy has since gone down. Not having installed the games yet my questions are...

1) Do I need keys beyond the ones I already have listed under my games?

2) Do I still need to contact support for additional keys?

3) Do I even need ANY keys if I really only intend to play single player?

4) (this one is less important) If I do try to play some mods or P-Worlds in the future a) can I with Gamespy down and b) do I need keys beyond those already on my shelf?

Thanks!

You don't really need a key to play singleplayer mode. Keys are provided only for multiplayer purposes. You can also create or join multiplayer games with programs like game ranger.
You never needed Gamespy to play online, either in campaigns or persistent worlds, simply made it easier. And if you download NWNCX then that'll reenable most online listings, the hosts just need to update a system file.

However, if you want to play on a persistent world that has a security system (which is every single one that's half decent), you will need a CD key that no one else is using. If that means you need to contact GOG support then so be it, it's free.

Incidentally, I'd be happy to play some modules with you if you'd like to do multiplayer, assuming we can make the times work out.
Entering a multiplayer key for NWN1 will prevent access to the premium modules; use the "premium modules re-installer" in the bonus content to regain access to those modules.

No game on GOG requires a key for single player modes even if was required when a game was originally released.

I'm going to second that. Haven't really played NWN online, it would be nice to try it :)
