In games like this I like to level up a little, export my character and restart the game at a higher level. However when doing this I cannot remove the Shards from the previous playthrough from my inventory. Any tips on how to achieve this (without losing everything else i want to bring across)?

Not sure if it works with the EE version, but you could do it in the original game with this character editor https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/other/tool/nwn2-character-editor

Ah good. I thought later you could have probably just given the shards to Amie ( I think it lets you give non drop-able things to companions to carry)
