Hi all, i would like to modify my 5***** critic/enthusiasm, but dunno how to do.

Here are the PROs / CONS : for this fresh new Enhanced Edition then i compare to the Old COMPLETE EDITION.

PROs :

+ nice textures....
+ good gamepad controls if you got an handicap, or need fast xbox controls only for solo/story !!!
+ It's NEVERWINTER NIGHTS 2.... I Love intro.... reminds me a 1980s movie with minions~~~ :)... (no spoil)

CONs :

- heh, multiplayer ? ASPYR not RESPECTED THE LICENSE : looks like a MoneyGrabber WITHOUT THE multiplayer servers like ACTION, PERSISTENT, ROLEPLAY, ARENA, etc REAL SERVERS.... !!! WARNING !!! The old NWN2 Complete Edition is better just for that !!!! EE is maybe made for XBOX/PLAYSTATION JUST FOR SOLO... :-s

- this multiplayer is huh, a no play. (co-op 3 campaigns, huh ?)

- AUDIO : all in english, no multi-language AUDIO/TEXT available yet.

NWN 1 EE is better "ENHANCED" coz Beamdog devs respected the architecture of the old game, & servers/savegames translated simply... new gfx/UI size options...

I hope ASPYR will TOTALLY REWORK the Multiplayer/DM set, which forever been the force of Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2, MULTIPLAYER servers OLD-SCHOOL...

i hope they will also let us disable "GAMEPAD ON/OFF" if we prefer to use a 3rd party mouse/key emulator like ControllerCompanion/REWASD/Joy2Key etc....

Take my money ofc, but please listen us.

Actually, i recommend NWN2:Complete Edition in this state... which is 100000x better just coz campaign editors/custom servers/DM/persistent large communities etc etc....

i'm not destructiong the game, i just give it 2/5 actually which is really bad as it misses THE ESSENCE of ORIGINAL GAMES, The MultiPlayer SERVERS.... !!! (multiplayer/DM/custom servers/community,Arenas/CTF... etc like said)

i simply hope Aspyr is going to TOTALLY REWORK the Multiplayer Window, Exactly as it was.... with DM set... exactly as it is in my NWN2:Complete EDition, using Client Extension to replace Gamespy master server......

Ahah, NWN2 is Lovely game for the Story i very like it so much !!! more than NWN 1, BG1&2 etc...

if u start on NWN2 ? go old Complete Edition, just. (that"s the risk being fan and preorder) ... :)

Can verify I logged into a PW earlier on Complete Edition (original GOG version). MP still works in it.

Both with Galaxy and without. Logged in fine either way.

The EE version seems to have a bit of memory issues and is stuttering horribly as anything loads, freezing for a few seconds.

Additionally, in character creation, you can't always scroll up and down the info on spells and cleric domains can't see everything they do.

u mean DIRECT CONNECT TO IP with NEW to a NWN2 COMPLETE server works ?

=> it's not fair !! the MP Window must go back to original .... revamping old class worldwide to new, custom servers DM tools....

for example, BG-TSCC south server runs on NWN2 Complete old..... here, i tried EE with gamepad... the camera R-stick gets stuck in rocks in caverns making a no-see.....

i attacked trolls, ... you can't repeat MAGIC PROJECTILE xTimes.... -.- you need to re-go in menu sub sub sub menu and repeat the click... it sucks.

for hard/soft setup it works fine here, no stuttering... but this EE is more a CONSOLES XBOX/PS5 VERSION for likers of D&D or BG3 noobs.....

if you own NWN 1 EE ? Compare it to it lol !!! OKAY.....

also, complete edition (old) & new EE share same SAVEGAMES/SETTINGS folder (NWN2)... but you can't ReImport your progression from EE to Old coz incompatibility... so it's Totally useless....

in EE, even i DIRECT CONNECT to that old skool peristent server we all play : 51.68.32.109 BALDUR'S GATE - THE SWORD COAST CHRONICLES, it takes years to connect/download paks/etc etc... lol..... (while all is okay...)

(pressed WINDOWS KEY + D while it's trying lol....)

it connects in DIRECT IP but it's sh*t... it does not work...............

-> we better ask a reimburse and keep our old beloved NWN2 COMPLETE EDITION !!!!!!!

Edit: been bored after 5 minutes writing this, pressed ALT+F4.... gonna ask reimburse and still "PLAY" my NWN2 COMPLETE EDITION !!! :D
