Recently started playing NWN 2 Complete Edition (Not Enhanced). At first all was dandy, but now the saves are not working.

Problem 1
Overwriting saves doesn't work. It says it saves but it doesn't, the original save is unmodified. This was working fine a few hours ago, now the only way to save is to make a new save. Cannot delete save from in game either.

Problem 2
Quick save no longer works. It used to work, and if I delete the save file from the directory it will make 1 quick save then back to the issue of not overwriting saves.

I can see now mention of this exact issue on search, wanted to see if anybody else had one. Wandering if I need to reinstall the game or if there is any fix.

Edit: While I cannot fix the problem, I can work around it. When I make a new save in the game that works as normal but old saves will not overwrite incl. quicksaves and autosaves. So I just load my game, make a fresh save, then go to my documents and delete all the saves from the previous session incl. quick saves and autosaves and then it will all work again. Quick save works, autosave works etc. It will work for the session until I exit the game, then I have to repeat. A little annoying but can live with it.

No I had stopped the onedrive sync. I reinstalled the game today, it worked for the first session, could save and overwrite saves, use quicksave etc. But once I quit and load up a new session my ability to overwrite saves or quick save is gone. I can still make new saves however so I will just have to live with that.
