I thought I'd give the PRC a try, so I installed it and a module that comes premade to use it. I created a warlock. I immediately noticed a few problems. First, my eldritch blasts seemed to have random penalties attached to the rolls. Sometimes I'd get a -4 on the ranged touch attack roll, other times I'd get a -3, and other times it would be a 0 bonus. I could also barely hit anything, but I chalked that up to the module not being very balanced and having overpowered enemies for a level 1 character. Also, I was able to equip a longsword I found, which I shouldn't have been able to do, since warlocks don't have martial weapon proficiency.

A bigger problem came when I leveled up. A dialogue box popped up and asked me to choose some new invocations. The problem is that there are no invocations there to choose. First it wants me to select a level of invocations. Only Least is available, so I click that, but there's nothing there. All I can click on is an option to go back to the previous dialogue options, which in turn only has an option to go back to the Least dialogue option. I ended up trapped in the dialogue and couldn't even press Esc to get out of it. I had to alt-tab and close the game with Task Manager.

Can anyone here help me out? Did I make a mistake installing the PRC or something?

I also had this problem with invocations. Fortunately, I found the solution on another site:

Bioware spellbooks are hard-coded - it's impossible to add new class with spellbook without editing nwmain.exe. In PRC we have a workaround for this. All PRC classes with spells/powers/invocations etc. use New Spellbook System (or Alternate Magic System) - the character receives a set of feats which are used to cast spells. All information about those feats is stored on special item in characters inventory and not directly in characters file. That's why you can't use character creator to choose them.

If you check your inventory in-game and find the special item, then you should be able to select your invocations.

I don't know what's going on with your other issues. I just installed the PRC and haven't actually played yet. I'll let you know if I figure it out.
