So I installed NWN1 diamond edition and since so many people recommended it I also downloaded some of Amethyst Dragons changes into my override folder. Nothing seems to have changed in the main campaign. I've unzipped them and everything. Are they for the main game or am I missing something?

1. Where is your NWN1 game installed to?
2. What changes have you installed?
3. Where did you extract them to?

The game's on my C: drive in my GOG games folder. I extracted them into the override folder in the NWN folder. The changes were Amethyst Dragons GUI Combo Pack, with changes to spell and scroll icons and colours, some interface cosmetic changes, nothing major.

Are any of the other GUI changes in hak paks? Hak paks have precedence over the override folder, and may be interfering with the Amethyst Dragon stuff.

The Hak folder has some mods and cep2 files. Would that be interfering? Is there a way to get around it?

They would only interfere if they are modifying the same resources as the AD stuff. If they are, they will always take precedence of the stuff in the override folder.
