Is there a way to put the Player Character into Stealth or Search mode without putting the entire party into the Stealth or Search mode?

The radial buttons for the Player Character seem to only have an option to set the entire party into Stealth or Search. Each henchman has a radial button to toggle Stealth or Search modes individually. I have been needed to pause, press my hot keys for Stealth and Search, and then go through and toggle Stealth and Search back off for each henchman.

I have been playing a community module (Citadel) trying a Shadowdancer character. Recently I have been using three henchmen. A strategy I use often is to keep the rest of my party back while my Player Character goes out to draw enemies into ambush. When I bring enemies into sight of my party, the plan is to use Hide In Plain Sight to disappear so enemies will engage my party instead, then move around for my sneak attacks.

I want my Player Character to be going in and out of Stealth or Search a lot, but never want the rest of the party to do so. I want my henchman to be seen by enemies, and I don't want to slow down their movement speeds when they are fighting. Pausing and toggling henchmen individually each time is a real pain.

Bring up the Character window (default key 'C') and go to the 'Behaviour' tab. Scroll down to 'Stealth Mode' and select:

'Not Stealthy' == Only stealthy when party leader is stealthy
'Always Stealty' == Always attempts to maintain stealth mode
'Be Stealthy Until Next Encounter' == Be stealthy until enemy sighted.

Edit: Oh, sh*t, I didn't catch that you were referring to NWN1. Sorry.

Install Tony K's AI mod:

This will give you more control over your companions, including telling them not to stealth when you do.
I was hesitant to use the Tony K AI, because I did not want to override the custom conversations/scripts used with the module.

I did test it with another module. I gave an NPC the command to never use stealth. However, when I clicked Stealth Mode, the NPC joined in the stealth too. The radial command overrules the instructions given to the NPC via conversation.
