I'm a total computer noob. I was wondering how does one access the soundtrack and wallpapers that come with the game?

You will need an archiver, like 7zip (free) to unpack the files. You will then need a multimedia player like the built-in Windows Media Player, or Media Player Classic, which is free, for the sound tracks. And for wallpapers, use the built-in Windows image viewer, or the free IrfanView.
