For the original release:
https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/module/al3-tyrants-moonsea-canceled-premium-module
I wonder how this will be sold to the people that bought the Deluxe Edition. Will they get a discount?! Will be free?! Or it will be sold at full price. So far no one seem to know...
I bought the Deluxe Edition, mostly just for the sake of completeness and to play Darkness over Daggerford Enhanced. While the changes in NWN EE so far felt kind of meh and not really worth it compared to the Diamond Edition, and I have few hopes for future patches, seeing how slow development is and where the priorities lie, Darkness Over Daggerford on the other hand totally was worth paying for, despite me having played the free version already. I've also played the free Tyrants of the Moonsea back in the days, and still, even as owner of the Deluxe Edition, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the new version at full price.

But where is it? Why is it on Steam and not here yet?

You know that the GOG release are taking longer than the Steam release. I think that it might come on GOG with the usual delay (between two weeks and who knows when).

I wonder if they bring Gagne and his Hex Coda series back to life, too. That would complete the canceled premium modules.

Yeah, but I find this "it will be here when (or if) it's here" approach without any information or communication really annoying. I mean this doesn't seem like a case of GOG needing to negotiate rights, they already sell the main game and other DLCs here, and if they're preparing a release while it's already out elsewhere, they should say so in order for people to be patient and wait for it. So far I haven't even seen any confirmation that a GOG release is planned (even though it might seem very likely).

For me it would only be complete if they also revive CODI's Planescape project Survivor, but that is highly unlikely, and granted, there isn't even an unfinished version to work with. Also, I always thought that Witch's Wake was the start of an abandoned series, but having replayed it a while ago, I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe it was meant to end in that weird, unsatisfying way and I just didn't get it?

Just a guess, but probably a limited time exclusive deal with steam. I base this on the fact that Beamdog doesn't have it available on their own store yet.

Would be nice if they continue Witch's Wake and ShadowGuard's storylines and bring a proper conclusion. How's the EE so far? Does it break non-EE mods?

I might be wrong, but I can't remember Steam making exclusive deals. The Valve games don't realy count obviously. But if I'm wrong I would be interested to hear from it.
However, Beamdog really gets on my nerves with their "communication" and other tactics. As was written before: the lack of information is like a slap in the face.

PS: You would have to buy the new premium module. This is also true for deluxe version owners.

The only hint at possible motivations for releasing this exclusively on Steam for now I found in this thread at the Beamdog forums:

We released the module earlier to test if everything is ok.
If they were looking for guinea pigs, I guess they'd find a bigger pool of them on Steam? Maybe they're already suspecting that something will go wrong and they don't feel like patching the DLC on various platforms afterwards? Still kind of weird though, if that should prove to be the reason, seeing that it's not labeled as Early Access and they're advertising it as "it's out now", linking to Steam without another word, as if there were no other stores selling NWN:EE. Anyway, we can do nothing but speculate, if they don't communicate.

I dislike how this is dividing the userbase. A module released on the Vault was always available to everyone in the community at the same time.

This type of nonsense really makes me uneasy. I don't at all appreciate how updates and content always seem to come to GOG long after the initial release when it comes to Beamdog. If you are going to sell the game across multiple platforms then they should all be updated and get the same content at the same time. On the chance that TotM never comes to GOG or they begin to completely ignore GOG in relation to updates they should be willing to give GOG owners a complete refund; even then I'd likely never purchase anything related to Beamdog ever again. This only divides the community when especially NWN used to be 100% all about community.

I don't know this specific case, but it's no secret that it's faster to push something onto Steam than it is onto GOG. Just the way these two platforms operate and not a fault of developers/publishers.
Has anyone heard any more information on this Premium Module Tyrants??? I have ALL versions of this game, CD and Digitial. I would really hate to hear that they gave up on gog updates.

No, the last thing I've read is they're working on it (as an answer to whether it would be released on Beamdog's own site and/or GOG, without explicitly mentioning one or the other). And that they will provide more infos when they have them (I think it was their community manager who said this). It didn't sound like it would be anytime soon, though I can't see what's the hold up, and I dislike their lack of transparency or care to answer these questions more helpfully, which could go a long way in garnering some goodwill, while the opposite just increases distrust and bad reputation. But I think it will be released here, one day, it didn't sound like they've given up on it.

Why would they give up on GOG updates?
Of course it´s gonna be released here.
It's here now.
