Right, so I can't seem to find an answer to this. You see I'm succeeding the Influence Check when you enter the Inner Sanctum. It ALWAYS says Influence Check: Succeeded. But she still sides with Garius!! At first it seems like she isn't going to, telling Garius he'll see the hells soon enough, but then when Garius tells her not to struggle against the binding or whatever she just apologizes to me and joins him! =S Like I don't understand the point of the fucking influence check if she's gonna betray me anyway. Is there something I'm missing? Does her influence need to be higher than 10? Please help, loved the game otherwise but I do NOT want to finish if Neeshka dies.
I would say that her influence does need to be higher than 10, though I don't know what it needs to be.
But there is nothing you can do about it at this stage, the game is nearly over.
If it's that important to you, go to an earlier save and use the console to increase your influence with her.

Yeah I could definitely do that. I just don't understand why the influence check is even there if she's gonna betray me anyway =S Kinda ruis the point of it if you ask me....also Sands influence is only at 9 and he doesn't betray me, though I guess that's because in his case it only needs to be higher than Qaras....and seriously fuck that bitch. Anyway thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that.

?

She doesn't betray you anyway.

The influence check is there to determine if she sticks with you or betrays you.

I had her with me constantly and I had high influence. She did NOT betray me in the final fight.

Please read the first entry in this post. I explain my situation there.

And I am telling that is not the only outcome.

Actually what you were telling me was that I'm wrong because you had a different experience. If you know what the problem is then tell me, but I'm not gonna start arguing with you. I'm only trying to figure out what the problem is since the game isn't really making much sense at the moment.

Likely, Not enough influence. It might be a two stage check, where you pass the first one, and fail the second. Or it could just be a bug.
I just had a look in the toolset.
The first influence check with Neeshka only has to be greater than 0
The 2nd has to be greater than 12

The reason behind the (hidden) second influence check is a not very relevant dialogue in the game. The shadow king has certain control over Neeshka due her tiefling blood.

Thank you very much for doing that! Kind of annoying how there's no feedback to this second influence check though...Still thank you everyone who took the time to give their input on this issue. I can now happily finish this masterpiece of a game and move on to, what I've heard, is even better; Mask of the Betrayer ^^

EDIT: Just a bit of an update if anyone else is confused by this. There IS indeed a second influence check however it isn't visible IF YOU FAIL IT. It only shows up if you succeed. THAT is why I was confused.
