Hi,

It's been five monthes since my game suddenly stopped working and I still haven't been able to figure out why. In short, the game launches without problem, but as soon as I try to play it won't work. The game always crashes at the same time, in singleplayer it happens when I have the "unloading module" message during the loading screen, right before I'm supposed to jump into the character creator / selection. In multiplayer, it will get stuck as well before character creation / selection.

I get no error pop-up but I do have a errorlog. It starts with these two lines :

"Error occurred at 9/5/2021 16:33:40.
D:\GOG Games\Game\NWN2 Complete\nwn2main.exe, run by jevan.
D:\GOG Games\Game\NWN2 Complete\nwn2main.exe caused an Access Violation exception in module ntdll.dll at 0023:77a6fee5.
Write to location 001e025c caused an access violation."

Now after all this time I tried several solutions without success :
- Clean reinstallation of the game
- Installation of DirectX 9 following GoG support guides
- Client extension
- Running in compatibility modes and as an admin
- Installed an old version of my Nvidia GTX 1070 driver
- Running in windowed mode / full screen / low graphism / all options in game tweaked one by one
- Firewall exceptions
- Clean reinstall and launch with Window started in minimal mode.
- Using a Virtual Machine to launch it through window 7. The game launched but VM is a mess and doesnt run nicely. And it's really overkill / a pain to use that.

And I probably forgot some. But I went through all the usual GoG help guides.

This is my config :
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz
Nvidia GTX 1070
16 Go Memory RAM
Windows 10 64 bits

Problem started 14th of April, the only special thing I remember then was trying Nvidia GeForce Experience then uninstalling it. I used ccleaner to remove any trace of that software left so I don't think that's the problem.

I feel the only way is a full reinstall of Window 10 but I'd rather not get there for a game, especially that I still don't even know how it happened.

It's probably just a bottle thrown in the sea but if anyone has the same issue, or an idea, please share !

Thank you
