In the Maimed God's Saga, how do you make an alliance with the Xvart? Every time I go to the village everyone is hostile.

You can make an alliance? I'm wonderign if it is some sort of homage to BG, I was waiting until one of them called out that i was a monster for killing them. It is odd how a game which started off by giving me an option to be diplomatic with orcs doesn't give me an option to even talk with a village of xvarts.
I don't think you can, the whole quest is about preventing their alliance with the Malarites (hence killing the Malarite priest or druid, I can't recall).

The orcs were neutral to begin with, hence it was possible to be diplomatic with them, Xvarts, not so much.

Fair enough. Pretty good module, at least for the first chapter in the mountain-top village. I think it got a bit iffy after that. Just played Harp and Chrisanthimum as well as the conan chronicles. the former is very well done but short, the latter is significantly longer but kinda buggy and obviously missing content. Both are quite impressive.
Makes me think about professional games and how they are bigger but kinda lacking in quality. I'd really like something like NWN with short but high quality stories like some of these modules. Pity the modders can't make any money off their hard work as it would give them more incentive to complete them.

Any advice on good, story based NWN 2 modules? When the BG2 mod comes out I'll have a go at playing through that but who knows when that'll be.
