I'm trying to figure out why all the characters will just shuffle in place and teleport to where they are supposed to go.
Just purchased this game, and im trying to figure out how to fix it.

Any help is appreciated!

I've fiddled with some graphic options but no luck so far.

Which game (NWN1 or NWN2)?

NWN2 has a known problem where you get jerky movement (just like you described) if your computer has been running for too long. Rebooting the computer (actually rebooting; not sure about the Win8/Win10-style "shutdown" which is really just hibernation) fixes that problem, though it will of course come back eventually if you do not reboot for a day or two.

There is also something called the "client extension" for NWN2 which is supposed to fix this problem (among other things). I have not tried it myself, but it seems to have helped for some people.

It was NWN2, and thanks a million, that was the fix i needed!
Didn't think it would be as simple as restarting!
